Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how IVY DECARB MARKETPLACE, S.L. ("Ivy Decarb", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on the platform at www.ivydecarb.com (the "Platform").
This notice is provided for transparency and general information. It describes the Platform's current technical setup but is not legal advice and should not be read as a legal guarantee or conclusion about every user's circumstances.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you use a website. Cookies can support essential functions, remember settings, or help measure how a service is used. Similar technologies include browser localStorage, which can also retain information on your device, and server-side measurement that does not store an analytics identifier in your browser.
2. How analytics works on the Platform
We use PostHog Cloud EU for product analytics. Analytics traffic is sent through our first-party /ingest proxy before it reaches PostHog Cloud EU. The proxy means the browser connects to an Ivy Decarb path; it does not change the analytics choices described below.
While your choice is pending
No analytics events are sent. Strictly necessary technologies may still operate so that the Platform and the consent controls can function.
If you accept analytics
PostHog analytics is enabled with first-party browser persistence. PostHog may use the ph_<project_token>_posthog cookie and/or localStorage on your device. Analytics can be identified and associated with account information available to Ivy Decarb, including your contact ID, email address, and company.
If you reject analytics
The Platform enables anonymous, cookieless audience measurement using PostHog's server-generated hash, which rotates daily. This mode creates no browser analytics storage, does not call PostHog's identify function, and does not attach your contact ID, email address, or company to the measurement. The daily rotation is designed to stop the hash from acting as a persistent cross-day browser identifier.
3. Necessary and preference technologies
The Platform continues to use first-party technologies needed to provide requested functions, secure logged-in sessions, retain your cookie choice, and remember settings such as language, currency, and regional configuration. Blocking these technologies in your browser may prevent parts of the Platform from working correctly.
4. Cookies and browser storage in use
The table lists the main browser storage used by the Platform. "Session" means the item is normally cleared when the relevant browser session ends. The PostHog analytics entry applies only after analytics is accepted.

5. Change or withdraw your analytics choice
You can use the controls below or open Cookie preferences in your profile at any time to accept, reject, or withdraw your analytics choice. A change applies to future analytics activity. Withdrawing consent disables identified browser analytics and its browser persistence; rejecting then enables the anonymous cookieless measurement described above.
You can also delete or block cookies and localStorage through your browser. Blocking necessary storage may affect sign-in, language selection, comparisons, quotes, and other requested features.
6. Updates to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technology, analytics configuration, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows when this notice was last updated.
